FSHL

The Fitchburg Street Hockey League (FSHL) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located at Coolidge Park in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

The league has been successfully run by volunteers since 1976, providing generations of players with a place to learn and grow.

Our mission is to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can develop—from learning basic skills to refining advanced talent—while fostering teamwork, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game.

FSHL is home to the Raider Cup, a long-standing youth tournament held annually during the final weeks of June.

FSHL also proudly hosts the National Ball Hockey League (NBHL) and the Women’s NBHL in Massachusetts.

New England Ball Hockey additionally runs two adult tournaments at our facility each year:

the U.S. Outdoor Championship in October and the New England Classic in June.

For more than forty years, the league played on traditional asphalt. In 2025, FSHL installed MS3 Multi-Sport Surface (“dekking”), making it the only league in the region with three full-size dekking rinks.

Fitchburg Raiders All-Star Travel Teams

FSHL is also home to the Fitchburg Raiders All-Star travel program—our elite-level competitive teams representing each youth division.

The Chipmunks, Penguins, Beavers, and Cadet divisions each field one or two All-Star teams, made up of stand-out players selected for their skill, effort, and sportsmanship.

These teams compete in both local and long-distance tournaments, giving young athletes the opportunity to experience high-level competition beyond the regular season.

To support player development and accessibility, all Raiders All-Star travel teams are subsidized by FSHL, helping keep tournament expenses manageable for families.

The Raiders All-Star program embodies the spirit of Fitchburg: development, opportunity, pride, and representing our community with class wherever we play.
